Livestock Costing Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Livestock Costing Coordinator to join our team at Wingham Beef Exports. The successful candidate must have sound computer skills, administrative and organisation skills. Ability to communicate with producers and the livestock team.

This is a fulltime position, but you will need to be willing and able to work flexible hours.

You will be required to establish and maintain business relationships with producers, livestock agents and feedlot operators. Your duties will include processing livestock invoices, supplier details and maintaining inventory. Ensure data is promptly entered into relevant livestock systems. Maintain accurate livestock costings and payments.

Livestock Procurement Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Livestock Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Wingham Beef Exports. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring the day to day activities for live cattle procurement. Ability to communicate with producers and the livestock team.

This is a fulltime position, but you will need to be willing and able to work flexible hours.

You will be required to establish and maintain business relationships with producers, livestock agents and feedlot operators. Your duties will include coordinating with the Livestock Manager, managing the daily & weekly kill schedule. You will be responsible for livestock delivery and management of onsite livestock ie, feeding and drafting. Ensuring a high standard of service delivery to all external parties involved in livestock sales transactions.

Training Coordinator

We are excited to commence the search process for a motivated Training Coordinator to join our Mackay team, as the Training Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery and admin of our training programs and L&D requirements within the TBS meat processing site.

  • Effectively manage relationships with managers and supervisors to develop, maintain and implement training programs and initiatives within their departments.
  • Monitor employee training requirements against the Training Plan
  • Action various data entry requirements including updating individual training records.
  • Prepare training certificates and training booklets/materials.
  • Schedule and organise internal and external training courses.
  • Liaise, communicate and build rapport with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., RTO’s)
  • Identify high performers and research and/or arrange training to further develop their skills.
  • Support and coach site leaders to deliver effective on-the-job learning and development of their employees.
  • Develop and maintain learning resources and materials.
  • Identify potential Trainees for formal qualification training and optimise enrolment timeframes for funding purposes.
  • Assist in creating and updating work instructions.
  • Provide training reports, monitoring and rectifying gaps, particularly for license’s, first aiders and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.

Physiotherapist

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week). As an onsite physio at Oakey Beef Exports, you will provide clinical services for our employees, focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Duties and responsibilities of physiotherapy consultations include:

  • Subjective examination
  • Objective diagnostic testing
  • Treatment comprising hands-on manual therapy, advice, and education
  • Specific exercise prescription
  • Taping as required
  • Ergonomic advice
  • Pre-employment medical assessments

Logistics Traineeship

We are currently seeking a motivated logistics trainee for our expansive loadout department at our Oakey plant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the logistics and supply chain industry.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Co-ordination of containers to docks for loading.
  • Co-ordination of pallets from providers.
  • Control and management of cheap pallet stocks.
  • Liaise and coordinate with transport drivers regarding loading docks and product loaded.
  • Data entry of daily dispatch and receivable goods.
  • Be able to identify product codes.
  • Constant communication with department supervisor.
  • Co-ordinate orders for delivery ensuring efficiency.
  • Co-ordinate with management of any day-to-day issues.
  • Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks
