What is the opportunity? 

Whyalla Beef located in Texas, is seeking to fill a number of roles with enthusiastic staff for our upcoming feedlot expansion. As a Pen Rider you will be responsible for daily livestock handling including pen riding and stock movements, diagnosis of animal health symptoms, maintain accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements and contributing to other areas of the livestock team.

What skills are we looking for? 

• Experience with beef cattle
• Pen riding
• Strong horsemanship skills – own horses advantageous
• Strong teamwork skills.

What experience are we looking for? 

• Experience in animal welfare and health.
• Feedlot experience
• Black Angus cattle experience
