We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team.

Position Accountabilities:

Operate payroll system.

Keep accurate records of all payroll transactions.

Keep current with all AWA’s, EBA’s Awards, and staff salaries including where applicable State and Federal awards.

Maintain current information on workers compensation provisions and payments.

Be liaison between payroll processing provider and Oakey Abattoir management.

Assist HR manager with payroll related issues.

Liaising with Supervisors regarding Manning Sheets/Queries.

Process employee deductions i.e. Canteen, Stores and Meat charges.
