Our process is guided by the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) and adheres to National Vendor Declaration (NVD) and National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS) standards, ensuring full traceability.

Whyalla Beef F1 production upholds the highest standards, using only registered Fullblood Wagyu bulls paired with high-quality Angus females. By partnering with Angus and F1 feeder producers, we ensure consistent, premium F1 Wagyu cattle production with predictable genetic outcomes. This streamlined program helps producers diversify their operations while maintaining consistent quality and performance in Wagyu production.

Our organic program
We partner with certified organic farmers to deliver Australia’s finest organic beef. Our cattle are sourced from farms certified by the USDA National Organic Program (NOP), and our farms undergo rigorous third-party audits to ensure compliance.
We source organic cattle that are naturally grassfed, free from added antibiotics and hormone growth promotants. We process at our Oakey and Mackay facilities under stringent organic standards. Together with our producers, we are dedicated to providing premium organic beef, that reflects the highest standards of sustainable and ethical farming.

At NH Foods, our select branded programs are proudly underpinned by Meat Standards Australia (MSA), ensuring the consistent eating quality that our products are renowned for. MSA evaluates all factors that influence eating quality, from production to processing, safeguarding the integrity of our beef.
For cattle producers, becoming MSA accredited offers significant advantages. It not only opens doors to market premiums and access to our esteemed branded programs, but also provides valuable grading information and extended feedback to help you benchmark and improve your cattle’s performance. Registration is free, and producers gain access to a wealth of MSA resources. Joining MSA means aligning with industry standards that enhance both product quality and market opportunities.
