What is the opportunity?

Oakey Beef Exports is currently recruiting for Labourers, Renderers and Packers to join their team. You will be working full-time, Monday – Friday, with carrying day, afternoon and night shifts available. Mechanically minded applicants will be highly regarded for the Renderer division.

Please note that 417 Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply however, must be able to commit to a 6-month period.

What skills are we looking for?

• Ability to deliver quality standard for workmanship required for a premium export meat producer
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Ability to comply with WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs
• Ensuring hygiene is maintained to the highest level

What experience are we looking for?

• Hold a valid drivers license and access to vehicle (essential as site is not accessible by public transport)
• Willing to work with meat product in different environments
• Physically fit to enable you to perform manual tasks
• Have been Q Fever vaccinated or willing to be
• Forklift licence optional (not essential)
